Here is another wonderful story from Ms. Raines as she finds that one person or thing right away that hooks us into reading more. This time it's Maisie who is 8 months old.Cade was an undercover cop for 5 years and he worked with Jenni, Maisie's mom. One night she brought Maisie to Case and told him to keep her safe.
Cade's mom opened her door one night and was greeted by her son and the cutest little bundle of fun cooing at her. She did not believe his cover story, but told him after he was rested they would talk. He ran into trouble when Sheriff Isabelle came by to check and make sure Maisie was not stolen. Cade took Isabelle on a date to the diner where everyone stared at them. While undercover Cade didn't get to let his bear play, so they took care of that including a leisurely roll in the mud.
Isabelle went with Cade to find Jenni. Did they find her? Did she want to come back with them? You know how to find the answer.

A woman on the run, a man with a baby. So starts this compelling story by Harmony Raines. With a few plot twists she made me think and pull information together while enjoying this tale.
I really enjoyed Isabelle and Cade's story in this Bear Shifter Baby series. They found their mate in each other, rescued a baby and mother and got revenge on the dirty cop.
Fun an edge of your seat quick read. This book was a blast to read. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Harmony Raines books are always so good to read.
Excellent and quick read. Fast paced and interesting in what will happen next. Definitely a recommended reading.
The characters were well written and the chemistry was fan worthy. Being a part of the shifter community help when no one good comes poking its nose in the wrong spot because just like the wild, you don't go messing with a bear's family and especially their young. Great ending for all.
A friend leaves her baby with him to protect so he goes home to the small home town and right away he is question about him and the baby by the town sheriff. Wow him and the sheriff didn't expect to be mates. They will try to solve the puzzle of what has happen with the mom. So enjoy the read and find out how they solve the puzzle ! !
The storyline was good. The characters fairly well developed. But I had to withhold that last star because... At the end of the story, I still didn't know what Isabel looked like! And Cade, all I can tell you is that he had soft brown eyes.
When you read a story, it's like a movie playing in your head. But it's a little hard to see the movie if you don't know what the characters look like.
Several of the stories I've read by different authors lately are guilty of this. Perhaps the next one will properly set the scene....
